I totally agree because I believe in dedication and maybe Vettel will be one of those rare drivers.

Right! This is the guy who publicised his interest in driving for Ferrari right after winning the WDC for his current team! I can't recall any other who has done that to date. :hehe:

Fernando Alonso did it for McLaren so...

You mean to Renault?

Its Alonso, I can't remember all his negative factors its too much for my memory banks.

Please don't let this turn into an Alonso hate thread. Free fishing trip for anyone that tries

early mod gets the lock!

Lets be honest- NO. it would be stupid move from both

Not so stupid if RBR does not produce a car such as last years and become dogs. Very seldom does any F1 team stay on top for more than 1-2yr's but anything is possible in F1.

 But in this situation it all depends on Adrian Newey. How long can he keep Red Bull ahead of everyone else?

Sooner or later the rules will stabilise, the grid will tighten up and once again it'll all be about the biggest budget, and best resources/facilities. If this were to happen soon, i could easily see him replacing Schumacher when he retires again.

 soon enough it will come back down to who has that advantage, and im sure with the money won from winning the wdc and wcc that red bull can stay in there with mclaren and ferrari, but only time will tell

Redbull are now insecure thanks to Vettel's public words. Other teams will know he's not indebted to Redbull and for the right offer and right car, Redbull can wave goodbye to their loving boy. Personally, I'd like to see McLaren poach him away in 2012 when Lewis win the WDC this year and have the fastest lineup on the grid for 2012.

i doubt that vettel would go to mclaren, but if he did alongside lewis, it certainly would be a very strong line up

Maybe he has no intention of moving, maybe he just wants money so he is pretending to be interested in the hope that RB will up his salary.

No chance I promise you. Ferrari and that is it, to even say he wouldn't drive there while Alonso is there is just saying that he has thought about it...So RBR really didn't think about that one...

Is that a poke that they won't have too overspend to be competative :hehe: ?

Lets face it, which team in F1 would not sign him if he darkened their door?!?!?

Williams.

They have a history of sacking or passing on future (And indeed, reigning) world champions

Yeah, totally agree. I wonder hw team with such terrible politics inside were able to get so many titles
