Either way they should finish above the rest of the Cosworth runners

That's likely IMO. Who all are they anyway?

the 6 new teams and nobody else I think

Working to a budget is hard & Williams have done it well.

I saw an article on ITV F1 website, a review of Williams over 2009. It was pretty good. But it made me realise...

They were only able to get one better than 2008, they finished 8th in 08, 7th in 09.

Still, what a fantastic job they did building that car for their budget, they probably have something around Force Indias budget of around £90million

It was entirely Nakajimas fault they didnt get at least 5th. Entirely his fault.

But hopefully they'll be stronger next year with Rubie!

Perhaps if Williams did not have Nakajima then they might not of been able to get the engines at the price they did!

There are 6 new teams?
Campos
USF1
Virgin(Manor)
Lotus
That's all I can think of other than Sauber whos engine is not decided but is to me likely to be a Cosworth. Then if I include Williams I get 6 teams total with Cosworth.
Mecedes is a new team. Are they using Cosworth? :hehe:

Sauber are gonna use Ferrari engines. Don't know if they'll be rebadged as in the past though.

As for Williams, i remain pretty hopeful, at least this car was a pretty solid base to build on for next season, and the driver combination appears to be very productive - two arguably world-championship capable guys. Williams had several missed opportunities this year, mostly due to the drivers (ie 4th in the constructors, pole in Brazil, the odd podium - especially Singapore). Hopefully that will be eliminated by Rubens and the Hulk. :)

A few podiums and best of the rest behind the big four teams would be solid, but i really hope they could at least get back to their '05 form.

Yeah, although i think Lotus might surprise.

Yes, best of the rest then. However, I'm still not sure about Scuderia Ferrari, as to whether they will return to winning ways.

I think Williams will be challenging for podiums every race, with one race win. :)

Oh now I think I remember that
That means there are only 5 cosworth teams. I too wonder if Ferrari will continue their policy of running one car just out of the points and one car at the very back. It seems to be working for them.

That's an interesting use of the term only.

true, but I mean "only" in relation to the 6 plus williams that was implied.

I wonder how annoyed Force India will be if many of these new teams get points. After all Force India went through to get points at last... To have newbies come in and get points right away would be quite annoying indeed.

I think Cosworth powered cars will get points though, likely to be mostly with Williams though.

I think force india should have the measure of the new teams, they've had a pretty good year and I'm hoping that they can build on it
