Todays Formula 1 is not for Kimi because he hates new tracks like Singapore etc. Everybody knows how focking fast he is in old tracks like Japan's Suzuka and Belgium's Spa. He is true racing driver and F1 world will miss he.

Btw, now he can use his time with ski jumping legend Matti Nykänen. Ohh mates... :drink::drink:

Well I didn't expect to hear anything about Kimi's not competing in F1 next season this quickly.

there is no sabbatical is there, the end of an era is upon us. as a few of you have said kimi is a bit of a purist, a full on racer. he likes the best, most challenging and classic f1 tracks and no-one will drive the best of them all the way that kimi did spa. but he is also in this mindset on teams, he would only drive somewhere prestigious where he could win a title; and with ferrari happy with massa alongside alonso and button having joined mclaren where would he go?

unless things don't work out at mclaren with lewis and button i can't see him returning in 2011.

I think brazilian press is the best when it comes to getting good scoops at F1

Since I always supported Kimi in McLaren, and I always loved Mercedes
I will support Lewis at McLaren, and Kimi in Mercedes...
Kimi does not look good wearing red :D

It's been reported here that he closed a deal with Mercedes.

I don't think he will change F1 for WRC for a couple millions...

I know he likes WRC, but still...

That's odd, considering Kimi's manager has already said that he's not driving in F1 next year.

I know, and I agree with you, but it isn't only one source that is saying this...I just don't get surprised with anything in F1.

Oh I'm not saying I think it's wrong, I just find it to be a very odd situation. I could easily see Kimi keeping Vettel's seat warm though.

maybe Kimi did want to be in F1 and just took a cut maybe he thinks he can make Mercades his Team?

Lets face it this is good news, and Nico Rosberg is going to be NO MATCH for the Iceman.

Technically its an All finish Lineup :hehe:
