It's good to learn that Massa is on the mend, but I still don't see why he should rush back for the last race of the season.

When you get hurt racing and spend some time mending...the one thing on your mind is getting back in that car. First, to prove to yourself that the damage you did was not career ending....and second, to prove it to everyone else. I am certain that Massa's biggest desire right now is to get back in that race car. His injuries were horrible and being head injuries can cause headaches and problems with stress for the rest of his life and that is ignoring any potential psychological stresses borne from taking a spring to the head. I am not a red car fan, but I wish all the best for Massa.

So here is to Massa....may the ride on monday be as positive and comfortable as he hopes it to be. Get back on that horse.... :drink:

Apparently Massa will be behind the wheel today instead of monday. This boy has a agenda and i hope it has to do with the chance of giving the cheq flag to fisi to wave come next weekend. maybe wrong but worth the thought. !!

well so much for a lil hope -

From F1live
Felipe Massa's medical exams at the Pitié Salpetrière hospital in Paris came to their conclusion on Saturday and the results were very promising indeed since he has been cleared for the next step: sitting behind the wheel of a single-seater.

Massa will therefore leave France and head to Italy, where a test drive aboard a privately-owned Ferrari F2007 awaits at the team's Maranello track on Monday, and not on Sunday as a previous press release had led to believe.

screwing with ones mind !!!
