He's always seemed underrated to me. I'd like to see him land a seat with a major player and watch how it plays out.
He hasn't been terribly quick recently. His party pice as ceased to be speed and become mind-numbingly dull consistency
What would anyone else do in the F1.09?
I was thinking of the race-winning F1.08
I know better than to pay attention to how drivers do in bad cars.
The situation is the same as Räikkönen suffered in the F2008 and Button in the RA108 (I hate saying that car's name >.<) - they all seemed to have issues with the tyres. And look at it this way, he was closer to his team-mate than the other two. The F1 world was saying that Kubica trounced him, but, fifteen points is hardly a trouncing when your car is far better-suited to your team-mate's style than yours.

Interestingly, it took Kimi the vast majority of the season to realise that the shark-fin was causing him issues. Surely that's something you'd think to try earlier on? But, I digress...

Absolutely nothing like Kubica seems to have done? At least he's dragged this terrible car to several points and a podium (albeit a slightly lucky one - arguably).
At the end of the day, he managed to stay out on his dry tyres for as long as possible, on a one-stop strategy, in those conditions.
