The NSX so blew away the exotic market ideal's it set a new standard yet's it's ever increasing price tag killed it's market value, the mindset was why should I spend $50K+++++++ for a Honda when I can buy a Ferrari! I know guy's who have several Ferrari's and Lambo's in their stable's yet they drive their NSX's almost everyday instead of just on the weekend's when it's not raining.
Alot of my decision also stem's from ageing, experience and knowledge so the older I get I realize that I would rather drive my NSX everyday than to write a check each week trying to pay-off a service on my Ferrari.
