Be that as it may, you had us all thinking you were hell bent for a Ferrari, ergonomics be damned!

I'm not hell bent for a Ferrari really but would like one someday. Remember my buddy that let me drive his 308GTB last year on my b-day? Well he has three 308GTB's and one of them has spent the last year in the shop getting the carb's rebuilt and a tuneup at the cost of $10K :eek: . Atleast with an NSX I wont have to worry about that because they are just as reliable as any other Honda.

My problem is that I like so many different makes and models that I must narrow it down and the NSX offer's everything I could want in an automobile. Heck it will be atleast 2-3yr's before I can even think about affording either one so we'll see I guess.

Yeah you can buy an old 80s TR for 20 grand, but it'll cost you that much again each year just to maintain it!
To offset costs, you could have a business grating peoples' cheese for them.

I've driven ferrari's round tracks and the amount they go wrong there,I would never even think of owning one.
Plus if you have big feet they're a nightmare to drive.

The NSX on the other hand is more of an affordable,reliable car :P

The NSX so blew away the exotic market ideal's it set a new standard yet's it's ever increasing price tag killed it's market value, the mindset was why should I spend $50K+++++++ for a Honda when I can buy a Ferrari! I know guy's who have several Ferrari's and Lambo's in their stable's yet they drive their NSX's almost everyday instead of just on the weekend's when it's not raining.

Alot of my decision also stem's from ageing, experience and knowledge so the older I get I realize that I would rather drive my NSX everyday than to write a check each week trying to pay-off a service on my Ferrari.

I think once I did see one advertised in the mid 20s. It was during the collector car divebomb, and this is Canada, where used cars are worthless, and hey maybe it didn't run.

what about an S2000, OK it is a bit hairdressy but it is a Honda and it will make you smile

How about a Mitsi GTO/3000GT? or a Skyline if you are looking at GT size cars?

The 3000GT VR4 has alway's been a special car to me but I'm a mid-engine guy. A Skyline would be nice but the cost, I have researched importing a R33, would not be reasonable. If I wanted another turbo I6 I would just buy a Supra but I would like to experience something different. As I mentioned I have so many idea's and plenty of time to decide, god willing, so no rush.

In any case I don't know why no one laughed at my cheese grater joke with free pic!

I have heard that expression/joke since the TR appeared in 1984 so that is MY excuse for not laughing at it :wink: , sorry.
