No matter how poor Bourdais was this season, getting sacked by SMS is unprofessional. Toro Rosso deserve to be at the back of the grid, the way they are operating right now is almost as comical as Andrea Moda.

A lot of people think they have sunk just because Vettel left for Red Bull, but really in my opinion ditching Gerhard Berger as team boss and 50% stake-holder was the biggest mistake.

Was he ditched or did he leave on his own volition?

I think he had his share bought back if I recall.

Yes, but who decided it? He himself or Toro Rosso/Mateschitz?

That is true but was it Berger who wanted more say so or was it Dietrich who was feeling the pressure monetarily??

Yep it isn't surprising in this duck up interwebed-cell/mobile world of ours. God :P I'd better delete my social networking site before I get a job. Opinion is bad. :hehe:

humans Gen Y in particular are losing the skill of communication, added on the death of the English language with text talk :hammer:

Gen Y nothing, you should hear Gen Z.

The way they got rid of me was very disappointing. Dietrich Mateschitz was at the Nurburgring but he did not speak with me. He did not call me. Everything was done by SMS, which to me has no style.

Personally, I agree with him. F1 is a high profile gig, one would expect more.

I'm sure others will disagree...

Cheers

Well if you are crap, you will lose your job in a crap way

In that case I bet Dietrich used text-speak to fire Bourdais, probably something along the lines of;

"m8 u r fired"

:hehe:

Two reasons:
1. Flavio's ego.
2. Piquet is not a 4 time series champion.
