oddly enough at the start of the season lewis wasnt that far off the pace of the front runners, i know he wasnt as quick as the front runners but he was still scoring every race, recently the car seems to have got worse by a pretty big margin, what ever upgrades Mclaren have tried so far have if anything slowed the car down

Well, i think their problems were masked my the wet weather and tracks that weren't so dependent on good aero in the first 4 races...

Rising number one of Formula 1, Juan - Juan, one wonders should Juan only win one Formula 1 one year, would Juan have won that one in round one, Juan??

Keep an eye on Williams, their pace has jumped right back up again now developments are coming onto the FW31 thick and fast, with more due at Silverstone. Their pace has jumped back ahead of Ferrari, and are just about back on terms with Toyota. Nico was aiming for pole at Monaco until Barrichello blocked him on his quick lap. If Nico can get on the front row at any race he can easily go into turn 1 in the lead thanks to the FW31's clutch and the Toyota engine's good bottom-end torque. Valenci-yawn, Hungaro-boring, Singapore and Monza could be very good opportunities.

Maybe Nico won't be so tempted to go to McLaren next year afterall.

Good to see him a bit more relaxed, it's the first time in his f1 career when he's not been under the pressure of fighting for the championship and he's getting the experience of being further down the grid that so many said he lacked from the start. When he gets the car He'll come back stronger than ever.
And yes it'd be great to see him up against Button at least once before the end of the season.

The only times we're going to see that this season will be on the tracks when Lewis or Martin Whitmarsh say "This track should suit our car."

Ahh, smug mode.

And just which track is that gonna be?

Something Eddie Jordan said after the Turkish gp was that Mclaren has another car waiting in the wings. At the start of the season Mclaren were saying they might run two different cars this season, one with KERS and one without, could that be what Eddie was talking about? Even if not, will the teams currently using KERS dump it for the rest of the season now?

Eddie didn't say that, he said they ought to scrap the current car and build a new one.
