When will this end. It's all such crap, and I've seriously had enough with politics in F1. Isn't Max suppose to resign sometime soon.

This two tier stuff is pure and utter bollocks. No one is going to pick that second tier because no one's stupid enough. So really it won't be a two tier formula. So why is it there. Does the FIA take the teams for idiots.

This from Jackie Stewart, and he's right.

"The FIA simply take money, they don't make money without the teams and yet they want to tell BMW, Ferrari, Renault, Toyota, Mercedes - these huge successful companies - how much they can afford in F1," added Stewart.

The FIA aren't qualified to govern the sport. They're no more than a much of greedy armchair experts. The teams know how it is in the sport, and what needs done and what is feasible. FOTA can govern the sport better than the FIA, fact.

Surely the budget cap is one of the main forces behind new teams wanting to enter the sport. If Ferrari and co. do form a breakaway series, who could ever afford to join them?

Its not necessarily the budget cap. It's the way the FIA wants to introduce it. If there is a breakaway, surely they will have a budget cap as well, only that the teams should have more 'power' over the legislation, commercial and sporting aspects of the series. Not a supreme board that has nothing to do with the sport and yet collects the most money.

Follow the money and you will find the answer. Throughout the whole budget cap and two-tier fiasco who has basically been silent. Max is doing Bernie's dirty work, if Bernie can fill the grid with these F1 wannabees look at how much money he will save. If the team manufactures really want to get the attention of Bernie and the FIA, announce a strike starting with Monte Carlo.
