Thats very true about Gp2
But.. Di Grassi had been in Gp2 for a year longer than senna. Also Senna has been in racing for 4 years ish compared to di grassi's 7 years
to be honest tho get rid of piquet for Di Grassi and Nakajima for Senna and lets see some decent drivers given a chance.
Senna is a good prospect, but not up to standard at the moment. Sadly, it looks as though money will talk.
If Buemi can get a Toro Rosso into the top 10 imagine what Senna could do with the FW31.
Ross Brawn was very impressed with him in the November test and he got to grips with one of the worst cars of 2008 quite quickly. He was something like 1.5 seconds quicker than Di Grassi.
I still believe every word of what Ayrton said about Bruno, "If you think I'm good wait until you see Bruno."
Yeah, but I remember him being around three seconds slower than Alex Wurz, of all drivers. Not exactly good for your reputation
Well, it's testing for you, I think Wurz was running 2009 bits if I remember rightly. Senna's time did come within 0.3 of Button though like Longbow said.
Longbow - I really think he could have easily beaten Pantano if dogs, dodgy FIA stewards and messy pit-work didn't intervene. His wins at Monaco and Silverstone in the wet last year were classy performances.
Having said that, if Di Grassi hadn't missed the first three events (six races) he would have blown both Pantano and Senna away. The very fact that, despite having a six-race defecit, he finished only one point behind Senna is pretty impressive.
And did Senna and Di Grassi not test the 2009 parts?
