Hey, last season was the first season I actually followed. How am I s'posed to know that testing doesn't matter?

FYI s'posed is actually spelled 'supposed'. Ok now back to testing lets use a simple equation that will determine it's importance so bare with me, testing times mean SQUAT !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

And in that context, it's supposed to be "its" and not "it's" (Which means "it is"), but who's counting

Hey it's :hehe: my keyboard not me!

:P Excuses, excuses

Nobody knows where everyone is right now. For all we know McLaren and/or Ferrari could end up being the "best of the rest".

To know who's the best of the rest, we need to know who the best are. Which we don't. The form-book can change just like that. Look at the difference between 2004 and 2005. One year Schuy was dominant, and the next the title fight is between Alonso and Kimi. For all we know BMW are top along with Ferrari, and we'll be watching a battle between Heidfeld, Kubica, Massa and Kimi. Or McLaren and Red Bull could be the form team. Vettel could be champion before we'd imagine. We just don't know anything.

I mean last year in testing, the majority verdict was that Ferrari was on top, whilst behind was BMW and McLaren with Williams very close behind them. Then comes australia, and ferrari weren't the menacing force we expected. Williams dropped of as the year went on, and McLaren became the winning team.

Also, another matter to consider is reliability. Lets be honest, thats what lost Ferrari the WDC in 2008. It also lost McLaren the title in 2005. So that plays a big part in the championship battle, and it's also something we know next to nothing about.

So really, I'm not betting on anything this year. I'm just going to continue to support Massa and Vettel regardless of their positions.

Yup, first we gotta know who the best are... so assuming its Ferrari, Mcl and BMW...
Then the best of the rest i think will be Williams, Renault and Red Bull.

Regardless... My support goes to Massa, Kimi and Alonso. And to vettel unless he challenges the prev 3.

And Kimi better show the effort and desire to win and make the F60 a winner (not just hope Ferrari 'give' him the best car). Otherwise send him to the lions :whip: or better yet, send him to Force india :)

My underdog? Well Id like to see Webber beat Vettel. I think Webber is underrated and despite his whinging over the past couple of years I rate him as a driver. So come on Webber. Just quit the whinging.

Damn, wish my teachers brought F1 into school. Except I'd probably end up starting an argument regarding who should've won 2008  j/k

Nah I wont brainwash them. They know who I like but I have a healthy contingent of ferrari supporters led by a little italian girl called lulu. All will be cool. Hoping to make our sports day into a GP with pits and qualifying etc. need to get hold of some gocarts. And we're designing our own helmets and car liveries.
