Dodgy Italian engineering.

Yeah, a mate of mine could tell you all about the fragile electronics on italian cars...

I can. I had a 1981 Fiat 2000 Spider. Lovely car, when it ran.

Bah, I couldn't care less if Ferrari are struggling. But if Massa has a s*** car. Then its a different story.
But anyways, I think McLaren & Ferrari might have pushed to far into 2008, and could end falling behind. Imagine, BMW vs Renault 2009. I mean, a shake up like this hasn't been seen for years, it could be a lottery next year.

But either way, I still support drivers, not teams, and I'm sure Massa, Rosberg or Vettel will be near the top. Hopefully.

Oh well F1 revolves around Ferrari afterall. If Ferrari are really struggling, then I am sure Ferrari can convince the FIA to scrap it altogether. But on the other hand Monte could be simply taking everyone for a ride so the compeititors will think Ferrari will not be competitive in 2009 when in fact they will be. :D

Ferrari can help scrap the engine ideas of the FIA - but they won't get rid of the introduction of KERS now.

She's being big headed as usual F1 does not revolve around Ferrari and the cost the teams have already payed out developling KERS would have to be underwritten if the FIA cancled it or there would be hell to pay with an already shakey structure going on with the engine crap.

Ferrari are just another team and F1 would continue without them if they left, They would be missed even i would Miss them but they are not F1 they are just a part of it.

Don't worry Ferrari are not really lagging behind. I just learnt something new about what Ferrari have been doing. Secret inside info. Whispered to me by someone who knows one of the mechanics there. Of course I have been privelged to know this so me posting it here will allow thousands to know this. So I am not saying what it is. All I need to say is anyone who wants to take their chances against Ferrari and fancy them an uncompetitve rival, will pay dearly as Ferrari will be a force to be reckoned with as they have been for the last 10 years.

At least most Italian cars are still Italian owned. Even if it is under Fiat, it still is Italian. Rolls Royce, Bentley, Jaguar, Vauxhall, Rover, Range Rover, British Fords, Mini all owned by outsiders hahahahahahahaha Rcently you got Aston Martin back, but for how long is the million dollar question. :D

Aston won Le mans 24hr this year where were the s*** Ferrari's

AT THE BACK.

Ford is an American company but the British cars are designed and built in Britan so they are angalo-american much like Vauxhall and Range Rover, and Jaguar. Rover is gone and Mini is just a BMW basically.

But we still have Lotus, Caterham, Noble, etc and new companines like Ariel (makers of the Ariel Atom)

I don't care really anyway i drive a Ford Focus which is American/European car but i'm looking at getting a Alfa Romeo Brera S which is tuned by ProDrive (British company) But Designed in Italy don't bother me that its Italian its a good looking car.

but i imagine you only drive Italian cars right? are there any Solvinian car manufacturers?

Well apparently they have built a Wind Tunnel somewhere else. One more advanced than the one in Woking or McLaren's one. All I am saying is that it isn't in Italy but it is Ferrari's wind tunnel and it is new. That is all I am saying.........Cant say anymore.
