Darwin, you are missing the point, this is about corruption and bias in the FIA and the need to expose it. Obtuse verbiage does not make your points valid.

how is the FIA biased? They penalised Ferrari in austria in 2002 for the staged finish and they penalised Mclaren for their espionage. The FIA are not biased I would call them "inconsistent".

McLaren, and everyone else moaning about this, should just get on with their lives now.

Nobody can deny that with the benefit of hindsight McLaren would have done some things differently, however, that's not the crux of the matter. Regardless of whether McLaren made mistakes and were or were not guilty in the spy scandal, Formula One has been tainted, with people around the globe not necessarily interested in the sport seeing just how influential politics and personal vendettas, if they weren't well aware of it before. This is something that has got to be changed for the benefit of ten other teams in Formula One.

I think it's very sad that DD seems to fail to see that.

Hey Mooker i tend to agree with your post! schweet ;)

Cheers Bud. Nice to get something other than a condescending reply when you've put you're point across.

As far as f1usa wanting this to be challenged in the civil courts, I hope it doesn't. After all, when will it end and at what point will poeple be happy? Sure McLaren could claim that Kimi and Massa should have their points from Oz taken away for running an illegal car (making Alonso champ). They could challenge the whole spygate sage (lets not forget the fine was for having the info and not disclosing it, nothing to do with using it). They could then move on to the fuel irregularities in Brazil.

But would it be any good for the sport? No, it would open the floodgates for all the other teams that feel they have something to gain. Ferrari would counter-claim, and things would get rediculous.

Roll on next season....

I did not seek a rediscussion of the three topics of my origional post. Those are examples of the corrupt and bias rulings of MM and FIA. I do advocate McLaren start legal proceedings against FIA in the spygate saga. That is the point.

My point was.... The FIA serves one GOD.....Money

If they can make it all the better, if being sporting gets it the way of making money, then forget it.

Oh im sure he just loves being down the s*** end of the pit lane fined loads of money(Forgotten the ridiculously high figure)having his integrirty questioned, been accused of cheating by the masters of the craft, had the constructors championship taken from his team, had 'special observers' making sure he treats his drivers fairly(What a joke that is after what ferrari have done in the past! Oh and actually also in the last race)And no fair recourse to justice. Yes im sure Ron is one happy chappy with this years championship!

The sport has been tainted by McLaren being in possession of a confidential document from a rival team.
