In what way? McLaren's "driver equality" policy is well documented and a matter of historical fact. I don't understand your contention Flyer23.

Lewis is RD's future that's why he has been under RD's wing for the past 10yr's. RD has a keen eye for true talent and he noticed that in Lewis before anyone else did, or atleast had a chance to sign him. It's alittle harsh in saying that they, who ever the new driver is, will be LH's puppet though.

Only my opinion though.

Button defo wont go if he'll become a puppet and Rosberg and Webber deserve more. I really dont wanna see another Schumacher & Barrichello situation

I think Rosberg's got the best chance, he's really come of age now and is the driving force behind the Williams revival, now all he needs is a winning car and Williams are looking to give him one next year.

Well let's think about this for a minute, shall we ? Ron has ALAWYS favored one driver over the other. Senna/Prost Hakkinen/Coultard and now Hamilton/Alonso. Ron has MILLIONS invested in Lewis if you or anyone else thinks Ron does not favor him, then I have a nice piece of property that I am willing to sell you. Ron even said "WE are fighting against Alonso, not Ferrari" Does that not tell you anything ?

Trolling Texas? I've been through Arizona too... nicer place. At least they have a canyon, a proper desert, and a couple of towns with a point.

I think the more appropriate question is:

Who is willing to be a No. 2 driver in exchange for having a competitive car in 08?

My pick... Jenson Button. He has experience and must be dying to prove himself, plus I think Mclaren is probably looking for someone with experience.

Yes, looks like Button is a likely candidate. Plus I guess it would be interesting for a British team to have two British drivers

I agree I would hate to see another MS & RB situation again, I think Webber is the most logical choice its now or never fo him, he is 31 yrs old. He is in great form, always qualifying in the top ten with his fairly average Redbull. He would be no puupet to LH, I think he would give him a run for his money in the championship!!!

Instead of thinking about who is the better driver Mclaren have also got to think about who is going to be a good partner for LH. Seeing as how NR and LH were karting together for years it would mean that he would be the best option.

I fail to see the logic here. For all I know it could be that they were getting on each other's nerves...

Webber has what it takes to be a world champion, all he need is a good car, he is nobodys puppet, he has never lost to his team mate ever. I think if he went there the other drivers would be trailing behind him, in the evey sense of the word.
