You have to think who is the next best driver in forumla 1, the only other drivers that are actually good enough to win races, get poles and win championships are:

-Mark Webber
-Nico Rosberg
-Jenson Button

Let me tell you something, if everybody had equall cars these 3 drivers would be in the championship battle. Also these three drivers would deffinetly leave there current team and get the contracts paid out so they have a chance to win a world title.

I chose Nico because he has shown that he is quick and he also has alot more year's left in F1 than MW and JB to become a WC.

You base this your assertion about being the only other drivers that are actually good enough to win races, etc. on WHAT? JB won exactly one race by accident more or less. The others haven't won anything.
Your list should include many other drivers such as NH, RK and, and...

I think Mark Webber deserves a good car. He's clean cut, works hard on his fitness and has speed. A very good fit for McLaren. He would also relish the challenge of coming into a British Team and rustling a few feathers, Aussies are like that, they love to get one up on the old enemy, it's a love/hate relationship.

I think Nick Heidfeld might get the job with Fernando commenting Renault is not his first option i can only assume BMW Sauber is the team he is talking about as Ferrari have their lineup set. maybe a straight swap? Mercedes will be happy they have a German in their team thats for sure

demure i would love Webber to come to McLaren but with his friendship with Fernando, i think Fern would warn him off of going there if he had such a bad time. but Mark has driven with Mercedes in the past so who knows

If you're right about FA going to BMW, that would be a disaster for me personally - I can't stand FA and he'd drive for the only team I have some sort of affiliation with :shock::shock::shock::shock:
I sure hope that worst case scenario won't materialize!

MW or JB if you ask me. They already have hot-shot kid, they need one mature head for balance.

I didn't realise those two were friends. I don't think Webber would mind playing 2nd fiddle to Hamilton to begin with, he's not got any results behind him yet so he can't really complain...

Fernando and webber are great mates on and off the track. mark webber is a onelap specialist, he would nail qualifing in a mclaren, i think he would get the most poles for the season. but i think rosberg and webber are equal racers, but rosberg actually finishes races were weber always crashes or has a failer, i think they are equal and it will be these two drivers that fight for that mclaren second seat.

I still want Sutil to partner LH. If not then Kubica.

Of those three it has to be Rosberg, as he is still learning the game, but seems very quick.

Whoever goes to mcLaren will be Hamilton's puppet. Nico deserves better and will stay at Williams. Webber is a waste and Button has nothing to loose so i would say Button would make the most sense.

In what way? McLaren's "driver equality" policy is well documented and a matter of historical fact. I don't understand your contention Flyer23.
