A successful outcome in the end then. That's good

Not racist I think ? Languagist. I'd put the phone down whatever race they were if I couldn't understand them. Likewise I'd continue listening whatever race they were if I could understand them. It's just no good getting into any sort of detailed discussion when you can't tell what the person is saying.

Bahaha, I like your new word :D You would of LOVED the phone call I received recently from a Curry place it made NO SENSE. I couldn't understand anything the guy was saying.

I told a man off from HSBC once because it sounded like he was eating his dinner when I was talking to him, you could hear him chewing and it sounded like he had something in his mouth when he spoke.

Oh man, that's disgusting. He was probably chewing gum. Good on you for telling him off though. I always feel a bit mean when I do things like that but yeah :S

Even worse is when you know what you are on about and have swapped stuff out etc and know the item that is wrong and they still insist on following the script.

Yep, TalkTalk are notorious for this. I'm pretty damn good with the internet and technology but whenever there is a internet problem what I can't solve my end like something wrong outside of my network I'll call up and they insist that I do the 10 things that I've already tried.

I just ask to speak to their floor manager as they are more willing to go off script and actually help solve the problem.

f*** talk talk so hard! My email was hacked but because it's an old legacy email they told me the password cannot be changed or the email closed! Now it's sending out spam and being used for criminal activity! I went in circles with their bloody call center for 4 hours before I just said f*** it and hung up.

I had Orange broadband and they did my head in. Randomly the ADSL would drop out, reset the router and it would work again for anything between 5 minutes and 2 hours.

Script monkey "please reset your router"
Me "that will fix the problem"
Script monkey "brilliant, is there anything else I can help you with"
Me "yes, fix my internet"
Script monkey "but we just fixed it"
Me "but it will only work for a bit then the same will happen again"
Script monkey "it is working, ring back when it happens again"
Guess what happened the next time I called them.

Virgin Media's customer service is amazing, whenever I have phoned them they go above and beyond.

Apart from recording Ted's notebook but that is amazing another story
