I disagree hammer, no one is born a racist or homophobic. It's a learned behavior.
"I don't want to be part of a forum where everyone has differing opinions." Boom...
Discuss the sport you love with other motorsport fans
However, if someone pissed me off/upset me in anyway....I don't think I can stop my head from digging into personal stuff/thinking racist or homophobic stuff about the person
Well yeah bcause they are a d!ck but what I'm trying to put across is that deep down you've learned to discriminate people in many ways thanks to our environment/media/etc. And they can come to the surface when you're provoked. I'm talking about thoughts, not things you say out loud...are you guys saying you've never had any racist/homophobic thoughts? Surely so, but are you able to train yourself to completely un-learn these thoughts/ideas? I find it very very difficult personally, but maybe some people can.
The less intelligent observers say anyone could do it in that car.
Depends how you define homophobic. Like I said, when you're upset with someone, you look for a stick to beat someone with. If a gay guy is an asshole to me, I might call him a faggot. If he isn't gay, I might call him another trait. Nothing to do with homophobic, just with that person and his behavior specifically.
Cursing someone out can be so satisfying....and be completely devoid of prejudice.

So if a guy with brown hair drove past and cut you up, would you shout "get out the way you hair-the-colour-of-shit asshole?

Exactly.
I usually don't go by looks things.
But for instance a woman blowing smoke in my face, I usually think (don't usually voice it, I'm not that kinda guy) 'kankerhoer'. She sells her body (whore) to cancer.
Doesn't mean I hate smokers -my best friend is one-, but if you're being an bottom, I will think those things.

So, in theory then, could I call someone a "black c*nt" and it be devoid of prejudice?
(Im not trying to be controversial, or insinuate either of you would use that phrase, Im just trying to understand your viewpoint)

Beverly Turner says about a lot of this in her book "The Pitts"
To be fair when I read the book I took most of it to be sour grapes
Which is exactly what clouds the discussion.
Imagine if Rubens Barrichello was a gay black muslim woman...
Then Rubens Barrichello would be a really odd name.
I can honestly say, I never have had racist/homophobic thoughts like that. Maybe I was just lucky in the environment I was brought up in?
