Yeah they're cheating. They run no wheel nuts. Just wheel off, wheel on.

I've heard that Ferrari are cheating in that they take the wheels of the car, and then put the same ones back on again. This saves them fractions of a second compared to putting new wheels on, and gives them an unfair advantage.

Yeah, the colour stripe they use to denote the tyre type is electronically responsive, so that they just send a small charge to change it's colour and trick us that they're using both tyre types.

They attach the wheels using velcro. Much quicker than undoing nuts.

I was thinking along the lines of a door latch type of affair so that the wheels can be pushed on and can then not come back off until the Pit man pushes the clips in to release the tyre

didn't ferrari come up with the swivel jack stand as well?

Is there a limit to the pressure the air guns can use?

Yeah, but Red Bull came up with the idea of throwing Eddie Jordan into a swimming pool. You've got to admit that for a young team, Red Bull come up with some really good ideas.

It's ferrari. They've been in the sport for the long time so I'd expect for them to have perfected pit stops through the years.

So have McLaren! :hehe:

Yeah but Red Bull showed their lack of maturity in this. An older and wiser team would have just filled the pool with quick setting concrete, thown that prat in and not had enough time to dig it out before the concrete set. :D
