I think it is because they do not want to make him the king, It would have all sort of lineage problems.

I think there is some sort of covenant that he could become the King because he is married to the queen. However it needs to be passed by Parliament. So I think the answer is The Queen does not want him to be king, Parliament does not want him to be King, or He does not want to be king.

I like them. They make me feel British, and proud. Cant really explain any further.

Really? I find them a totally outdated embarassment.

As for feeling British, she's German and he's Greek. True Brit's they are not.
