Ferrari were the previous holders of the "highest F1 team" title.

Maybe this is the first of many stats RBR will eventually beat Ferrari at? :hehe:

Er, I never inhaled.

Come to think of it, it explains his shaky leg, 'can't wait for this to finish so I can go spark one up'.

Wonder how much the power dropped at that altitude.
Now you've ruined this nice little thread into junkie central by making a drug joke.

I believe the car was powered by 3 hill sheep. :sheep:

Isn't it McLaren technology where they launched a missile into outer space couple of years back?

That would be BAE systems. BAE (and British Aerospace previously) was a technology partner to the McLaren Formula One team from 1996 to December 2007. The partnership originally focused on McLaren's F1 car's aerodynamics, eventually moving on to carbon fibre techniques, wireless systems and fuel management. BAE's main interest in the partnership was to learn about the high speed build and operations processes of McLaren.

A McLaren F1 car wasn't fired into the sky to the thread title still holds. No other F1 team has had a car at this altitude.

Either way, even if they took a car up it's cheating. It was not self propelled. :D
Well I hope they got a stop-go penalty for that!
