Amanda, you must realise this of certain members. They post for ours and their own entertainment. It is futile to argue with these people unless you do so with the intention of sustaining the argument for your own enjoyment.

Amanda is like the Mclaren version of AKR

:P

:yikes:

Says the guy with a McLaren avatar and signature. I thought that was your job anyway. :hehe:

Just showing my support...and what do you mean my job?:angel:

So you hate Lewis more than you like Massa nice one Tony says alot that.

Hate is such a strong word LB... I dont hate the guy - I think he's a good driver and he has a lot of growing to do.
Its all in the attitude - look at Vettel. he's great, isnt he.

If you think that he's a "good driver" then why do you agree that he should be ranked 24th? Or am I reading your post incorrectly?

For crying out aloud can you not see that I am joking and being a smart arse. Of course he isn't really ranked 24th. But certainily not first either.

Alonso's first lap in Hungary 2006 was astounding. He just had a far better feel for the conditions than anyone else. His car was working extremely well but he had to push on very hard to get the front tires working as soon as he did. It was incredibly brave i thought, he had to put blind faith in his judgment that if he drove like that, the tires would come to his rescue.

I loved it when, and it showed bravery (or stupidity??) when Kimi carried on blasting round the track and blasted through a massive smokey area, not knowing what could have been there.
Don't rememeber where or when it was like.

When Alonso was at Renault in 2005 + 2006, he was noted for having a strange turn -in style that was specifically tailored to the Renault chassis and the Michelin tires. This is one of the reasons he initially struggled on Bridgestones in 2007 (Hamilton tested on the tires before Alonso did due to Alonso being contracted to Renault). He turned the wheel sharply in and then out of the corner while coming off the brakes before turning in again more directly and finally in order to aim the car through the corner. This small initial turn-in sent extra heat through the front tires, generating a better reaction from them when he turned into the corner for real. As far as i know, he is unique in doing this.

That was through eau rouge at spa of all places :yikes: Someone had blown up in front of him and he didn't even lift!

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=R1Hz7ItDX68 he was amazingly committed in that qualifying session. He was faster though the first sector on the lap with the smoke than he was on hist first flying lap!
