I will not be getting a new car for about 4/5 years, but it will be an Alfa Romeo come hell or high water. :D 159 please...

I can't wait until they start selling Alfas in here in the states. Started saving. Don't really know why I want one so bad. But I do.

You'll be a regular with the cute receptionist at the shop - that's why. :P

I'm going to checkout this 2000 Mazda Miata MX-5 tomorrow. Not too hot on the color at first but it is different and I actually kinda like it do to originality. It looks to be in great condition but I do have my reservations about the seats because they are covered up. One of the main items is that the top looks to be in good condition. You can also tell from the pics that the struts are still in decent condition.

The Toyota dealer is asking $4,999 so I should be able to trade-in the 4Runner (valued at $9699) and pay it off with no or minimum payments if I take the bait, anyone getting the feeling that ol' tex is ready for a change??

Cannot post more than three pics per post so here are a few others. As you can tell all the body-work seams are properly aligned so hopefully it will represent etc etc as good as it looks.

Well after driving nothing but MR2's from '85-'06 I rather prefer the kart aspect  .

i'm trying to go out and look at a few RX8s but there's so much snow its pretty pointless since either all the cars are covered in snow or there's snow on the roads so they won't let you test drive.

Been picking the brains of members from an MX5 forum and the concensus is I had found a good buy and there were only 600 or less produced in the Evolution Orange so atleast it will be different, just like me :D:hehe: .

Years ago I drove a Miata for a couple of weeks and I hated it. Too tiny, no leg room to speak of, bruised my knees because of that. Other than that, it's a fun little car (with emphasis on little in every aspect).

I did test drive and inspect it yesterday and I REALLY liked what I saw and drove.. The dealer tried to lowball me on the trade-in value of my 4Runner by almost $5K :yikes: so I walked away. I have a potential buyer for the 4Runner at $10K and if that happens I will buy the Miata.

I'll keep ya posted,
