If Ferrari go. I'll go.

Same here. If there is no Ferrari there is no F1, so whatever would become of F1 I will no longer want to be a part of.

No team's departure would make me stop watching F1, but to each their own.

Would you follow a new series that consisted of Ferrari Mclaren Renault and Braun ?

I desperately don't want any of the teams to quit. They must find a compromise that is acceptable to both sides - and quick. Your statement above beggars belief, there is no teameven your beloved Ferrari that is bigger than F1. Ferrari are part of it and not the only reason F1 exists. Bernie will be doing his damnest today with the teams to find a palatable solution, there has to be a cap in todays financial climate, the £300m budgets are gone, but neither do I accept that 40m is an acceptable limit either. Common sense on both sides need to prevail.

I agree with the exception that if Ferrari did leave to create a new series and took a few other teams with them they could make a better series than what F1 currently is, and what Max and Bernie are trying to turn F1 into ( an open wheel version of Nascar). A new series could easily become the pinnacle of racing that F1 is supposed to be if MAx and Bernie were out of the picture. A budget cap that the teams would agree on without a 2 tier system is definitely the best solution,
but a budget cap that restricts the technical innovations in F1 is not the way to go.

Teams come and they go....I used to consider it impossible to imagine F1 without Lotus, BRM and Cooper. I am tired of Ferrari getting special treatment. Right now, they are clearly back to spagetti management and are probably a spent force for a while.

I'm wondering...Is bud aware I can neither see nor do I read a word he says (Unless someone else specifically addresses him)?

Anywho, his mis-placed, self-righteous comment is regarding the fact I stopped posting on here in the back end of last year, which is actually irrelevant to this discussion as I was still watching every race, practice (Where I was available) and qualifying session (And despite their miserable pace, still wearing the Honda kit while I was at it).

That and I was pretty busy living it up on Giant Bomb (dot) Com.

Obviously not, so you can stop trying to provoke him, and by the same token you don't have to be worried about anything he says either!

Drop me a pm if there are still any issues... but let's get back on topic eh?

It is mind numbingly obvious that some of you do in fact have issues with each other judging by a lot of threads lately, and everyone is actually just sick of seeing these lame, petty, childish arguments and comments all over the forum. The minority are ruining parts of this board for the majority at the moment, and one way or another it will stop. You can either resolve your issues in private, simply ignore each other completely, or take a time out from this place - at your discretion or ours. It's not bloody difficult! :director::thumbdown:

That's pretty much how I feel at the moment. A lot of it is down to mis-reading (or not reading) other peoples' posts and just jumping on key points to suit a particular argument.
