So by your analogy if the car infront of you is slower and you CANT pass it "WAVE YOUR FIST" and they should let you through! :hehe::hehe::hehe:
Too bad Alonso has only one teammate because if 22 drivers were (one big happy team) I'm sure he'd convince them all he's faster then them! :hehe::hehe:

As for Barca I'm not going there coz thats the :censored: thing I've heard in my life :rofl::rofl:

You really don’t deserve a replay. Open your eyes and close your mouth, please.

He was very fast and he still is, but he was a rookie in Formula 1 and he displayed it on his entire splendor losing the WDC because he couldn’t cope with pressure at the last races, something he still hasn’t improved.

You don't have to be a rookie to lose a WDC the last race of a season. Two time world champions do that even though they've had tons of time to improve.

Please, don’t be unfair. Lewis headed the championship for 17 points with 20 points left and he scored 0 points because he couldn’t cope with pressure.
The 2010 last five races have shown what a kind of a champion Alonso is. He didn’t win the WDC for anybody’s fault but him.
If you don’t see that is because you didn’t want to do it.

Alonso what the ONLY driver in Abu Dhabi that had sole control of his destiny. Fairness goes both ways... so be very careful when you make comparisons. I wasn't the one bringing up Lewis Hamilton's rookie mistakes, just pointing out the fact that the same argument you make for Lewis in 07 can be made for Fernando in 2010.

Why was Alonso in control of his own destiny in Abu Dhabi? Because Lewis had ruined all his options driving as a rookie the fourth previous races.
Was Alonso’s fault losing the WDC at Abu Dhabi? Be serious Burning, please.

Why do you say Lewis made rookie mistakes? he made mistakes, yes, like all the other top drivers. Why do you call his mistakes rookie? Why not select the mistakes Alonso made and call them rookie? He made more of them after all.

Alonso fans CAN NOT have a honest assessment of their idol WITHOUT throwing Lewis in it! :hehe::hehe::hehe:
It's either sour grapes from the a** whoopin of 07 or simply an Obsession!
Alonso didnt pass Petrov,,,,,,,,,,,FA (fans) Lewis didnt pass Kubi :wavey::wavey::wavey: Lewis WAS NOT gonna risk crashing possibly both cars and (handout) WDC to FA :wavey::wavey::wavey: Even if he passed them ALL he still come short!!!!!!! Alonsos destiny was in his OWN hands!
WHERE IS MONTOYA WHEN YOU NEED HIM :drink::drink::drink:

I doubt that,

Lewis had no reason not to push hard against Kubica, he wasn't of course going to just forget to brake, he's not stupid, but he knew (I'm sure) that he wasn't going to hand the title to Alonso by crashing.

Lewis couldn't past Kubica in a car faster than the Ferrari's, he also pitted later (Lewis) than Alonso had, so when he came out behind Kubica the difference in tyre freshness would've been greater than Alonso-Petrov, biased in the favour of the driver behind. Yet Lewis still couldn't get past, the real problem is how difficult to overtake it is in f1 and the Abu Dhabi track. Also credit to Renault for having the best F-duct.

Not sure about all this "rookie error stuff", I think Lewis and Alonso both drove pretty good races in Abu Dhabi.

I call rookie mistakes those that drivers make when they are under maximum pressure. In the last races, when they are fighting directly for the title. When any mistake, could cost you losing the WDC.
It’s like in other sports like for example tennis. If you are the best at the first stages, but when you arrive at the final rounds your performance get worse under the pressure of winning or losing the title.
In Formula 1 it is still worst because the high pressure is always there and at the final stages increases to limits almost impossible to afford.
In Abu Dhabi Lewis wasn’t under heavy pressure he had lost the WDC the fourth races before, when he really was under pressure.

The point Jack is that you called Lewis' mistake a rookie mistake, yet Alonso (being the only driver in that race to not have to rely on others making mistakes to win his WDC) isn't a rookie mistake? You used the term rookie mistake as a derogatory term. So why would you say it's unfair for me to point out that Alonso and FERRARI made a mistake that cost them the WDC...

You have to use the same measuring stick whether you like it or not, otherwise you're living in your own world.

Alonso and Ferrari made a big rookie mistake with their pit strategy!

Most of you know what I actually believe that happened in Abu Dhabi. In any case, it was a Ferrari “mistake” not an Alonso’s one.

Alonso was involved in deciding to pit, Even asking the team to pit Massa first to try get ahead of Webber. I've posted team radio transcripts on your far fetched conspiracy thread.

Ferrari made the “mistake” not Alonso. Tell me just one mistake made by Alonso in the last five races. It's you who is using a different measuring stick with Lewis and Alonso.

You can have a discussion with a Ferrari fan, but you can't have a discussion with a tifosi.

I read the team radio transcripts and Alonso wasn’t involved in the decision: OK. PIT NOW. This was an order or a consult. It was a question? Sorry be fair once in your live.
