I've just bought 'With the Old Breed' by Eugene Sledge after hearing it's the definitive memoir from the WWII pacific conflict and the basis for the new television series. I might get 'A Helmet for my Pillow' when I finish too.

This thread seems to have gone quite quiet recently....

I've been reading more trash: slowly working my way through Sue Grafton's ABC Murder series (A is for Alibi, B is for Burglar etc) which I'm quite enjoying. Currently up to 'F' so quite a way to go.

Don't have much else in the way of books lying around at the moment - I'm still trying to get into my book on the Templars and failing miserably.

Finished my Williams book a few weeks back and have now started on James Hunt's biography.

Just bought a book called "Novel Destinations: Literary Landmarks from Jane Austen's Bath to Ernest Hemingway's Key West" but haven't started it yet and I am in the beginning of War and Peace.
