I have to ask, if F1 did introduce a boost button, allowing cars to exceed the rev limit for a certain period of time. Just like in A1GP, would you complain that F1 has had to clearly copied from another series, or would you rejoice at the idea of more overtaking.

No, I'd complain about the use of a cheap gimmick.

I look forward to seing Ferrari at the top once more, but in the mean time i wil keep Tony Kanaan as my Avatar, atleast he will never leave. I guess If Ferrari leave i will have to support McLaren! :wavey:

I am hopeful we do not leave. I think politics are killing the sport bullet by bullet. I think this is why JPM left!

BRING ON TURKEY!!!!!!

Nah man. JPM left because his sponsors refused to make free cheeseburgers part of his pit stops. He didn't so much leave as get thrown out though.

Gotta run now...she who must be obeyed is about to come in here and smack me around for giving JPM a hard time. Hi :wavey: racechick. Ducking for cover now.

You must be really bored (see thread title) to be asking for that kind of punishment... :hehe:

I haven't been checking this thread. Is it still on topic?

I get a chuckle from the fact that Mercedes is getting its a$$ handed to it by its customer.

Oh, excuse me! lmao! Funny as hell though. Politics are ruining the sport, I’m not surprised people rather stay in GP2 than move up to F1. I see the only thing that makes F1 different is the politics and the over shadows of the GP press in which I call the sharks  I think F1 is losing it's touch and is now more about the glamour...You will never see the grid change for the next few years except for the new teams trying to finds it's golden boy/girl. Piquet will be the only one to be dropped. Formula One is NOT the land of opportunities:thumbdown:

I haven't read the whole thread so if I repeat previous comments; forgive me.

In the first three races I was enjoying the action seeing a new team beating the established teams but now it's getting incredibly tedious seeing Jenson Button (of who I am a fan) winning almost every race. It's very reminiscent of the Michael Schumacher/Ferrari domination of the early 2000s. When someone asked me for predictions for Turkey; my reply was "it will be predictable", which just about sums up this season for me; it would be nice to see Red Bull, McLaren, Toyota or even Ferrari who I dislike with a passion take victory away from the day-glow stripped ones!
