The KERS division at Williams was a local company that Sir Frank bought into which was researching into Hybrid technology. Once again Sir Frank has demonstrated what a shrewd businessman he is.

On another note the flywheel system has a design life of one season but the batteries of the electrical system have to be replaced for every race - green huh?
Interesting article in this month's F1 Racing on that matter, apparently Williams has a division dedicated to use of their flywheel KERS system in 'every day' scenarios, and they are looking at putting it on buses. Good work by Williams there!
