yup, justice was served at the end of the season though

Another thing i noticed while the race was ongoing was just as hamilton made the move and passed kimi almost every ferrari fan within sight got up and walked out! sour grapes or what :D

I think the tifosi do that often. If their driver goes out, they do too. They are more pssionate about their team then F1 and the racing generally. (Im not saying all Ferrari supporters are like this! But on many occasions the grandstands empty if the Ferrari driver goes out)

yup, considering it was the last few laps or the race and the conditions were changing dramatically (oddly enough it never rained where i was sitting  ) anything could have happened

But Button would not have droppped it and would have beaten Hamilton.

He dropped it at Silverstone.

Yeah, that had nothing to do with aquaplanning... :-|

The point is we have no idea what Button would have done He has been known to drop it, hasnt done this year. So we dont know. The whole circumstances would have been different. To say Button would have beaten Hamilton is speculation. That was my point :)

The only way we'll see is if Button ends up as teammates with Hamilton or Alonso.

I think I might use some of that wacky logic that's been going around (you know, the Hamilton beating Alonso makes him better than Schumacher thing). Button beat Trulli at Renault in 2002, Fernando beat Jarno at Renault in 2003, but then Jarno beat Fernando before he left Renault towards the end of 2004, so theoretically Button could be better than Alonso

On a more serious note, the chances of us actually finding out are pretty slim.

lol yeah, I was thinking a little more simply in that there wasn't much between Hamilton and Alonso during their season together.
