Has anyone seen Jonathan Legard's predictions? Lewis on the Podium make sense, but he's gone for Button rather than Rubens as winner. I find that a bit odd.

Look at 2006?

Rubens did really well there compared to button.

Rubens' Monaco history has been pretty good, although he's never won it. His performance at Stewart in '97 was quite impressive :)

This really needs to be a race that Rubens wins. It's a track where he could potentially finish a place or two ahead of Jenson and claw back some of the points deficit. If he wins here, I think it would definitely be a confidence-booster and that might lead him on to at least a string of solid podium finishes. It's essential for him to capitalise when Formula One reaches tracks where Jenson may not be as good. I want those two, and maybe Webber or Vettel, to take it down to the wire.

Even if Rubens does not end up as world champion, I think he would be very satisfied to finally win at Interlagos. He's been so unlucky in the past, it must be mighty frustrating!

Indeed. Rubens has a style which goes more easily to the edge, which is how you go quick at Monaco (I mean, look at Lewis in Practice). Plus, I mean, you gotta think Rubens wants it a lot at this stage

Yeh Jenson has a smoth driving style you see, and that does not suit monaco.

It really would not surprise me if Jenson did take the win. He's finally got a car that is capable of winning their, and after years of struggling this is his chance to win at Monaco.

So although I'm not expecting Jens to take the checkered flag he could just about pull it out of the bag.

Not quite sure about that because one of the smoothest drivers ever, Alain Prost, won Monaco 4 times. Could be that he was in one of the best cars but so is Button and smooth is smooth no matter how it's viewed. Very few passing area's but not impossible so the first corner and pit strategy will be the ultimate deciding factor imo. Anywho I'm so looking forward to this race, man I luv F1!!! :cloud9:

Imagine what ITV would have made of Lewis' gaffe? Dedicate the ENTIRE pre-race buildup to it? Lots of Steve Rider stalking interviews? And of course James Allen's reaction. :P

Man what happened to Lewis as his practice times showed a great deal of hope for a 1st or 2nd row grid position? Regardless of all the off-track nonsense I'm sure he will bounce back after the car is sorted.
