I've seen one comment that described the race as a bore, but I disagree. Sure, there wasn't a great deal of in-your-face on track action, but the battles at the front were more than intriguing. I was kept on edge through out, as Lotus kept McLaren completely honest. Great racing, and apart from the first corner lock-up, Lewis didn't put a foot wrong. Fully deserved victory.
Jenson Button's race on the other hand was very frustrating, as he spent much of it stuck behind slower cars. I feel there were at least two occasions, when the decision to bring him in was not the best, considering the outcome. As a result, Lotus are keeping McLaren on their toes in the WCC.
Ferrari, of course, have now dropped to 4th, while Red Bull's lead has been reduced. Their hold on P1 certainly doesn't look as monstrous as before. Fernando Alonso continues to bring the car home strongly, and this is helping him extend his WDC lead even further, what with Mark Webber's lowly finish in 8th.
Mercedes will no doubt be gathering their thoughts after only bringing home 1 point. The Silver Arrows have looked completely off the pace all weekend. An interesting point is that Sauber are only 26 points behind them, but the Swiss boys did little to assist their WCC campaign in Budapest today.
Special mention must go to Bruno Senna, who pulled off an excellent 7th place finish, which takes him up to just 5 points behind his erratic team-mate Pastor Maldonado. The Venezuelan really needs to cool it. In barging Paul di Resta off, he's putting together an alarming tally of incidents and penalties.

At least the ever-disgruntled Seb managed to salvage something from his nondescript weekend... fastest lap, of course.
