I usually elect not to chat for the following reason: unlike BBC, we have commercial breaks and anything that happens during those breaks will be shown right after the break. However, if I read/chat then everybody else is already telling what's going on. That sucks for me as I don't see the pictures and it takes away from the suspense.

I'd agree, only I have to on the count of if the TV is too loud I got beaten black and blue for the noise by my misses, will admit she 'Tries' to get involved in the sport, or try to understand it

I cant see chatting while watching the race, I would miss too much, yet during commercial breaks would be fun. To bad my desktop is in another room than my tv.

I actually find the chat handy during the race. It means I have someone to debate points with and they also yell out things that I might miss

I like it, just have to watch the recording straight after to pick up the bits i missed. This time my laptop was so slow when I wrote things, took ages to appear on the screen. Dont no why? Maybe I was too far from the server.
