Gotta say, it has to have a Career mode. I spend most (Almost all) of my time in F1 06 in Career
#99292
Here are my Ideas.
Career -
Our helmet -
Our helmets should be designed by us? We should also be able to race for a team and put on the sponsors that are on the team we race for? We should be able to choose visor colour etc and design our face and helmet the way we want.
The Car-
It should have our name on the side like
?.????? - [British Flag]
If we win the WDC - WCC the number on the car should change!
I want more realistic game!!! Plus the commentators should be able to say our names!!
Such as they should put in names in the database so we can choose from them.
-Grid Girls - they should hold the sign with our name and nationality.
End of Race - They should show us climbing out the car and going on podium in a celebration
-News Paper- They should show newspapers with us on the front -
Interviews - they should hold interviews and we get to choose what to say from a selection of words.
Friend/Foe - we should make certain choices so we are either a friend or foe to the public -
You should have the same basis of the other games, start from bottom and work your way to top but you should set personal goals for yourself.
If you win then it should be realistic like it should be made a big thing to add realism

Race converge - they should have more realistic race coverage -

Create a Team-
The Name -
The name should be - My own - Renault Wolf Racing - that is an old team brought back - that should be put in the database so the commentators can read the team’s name.
The story - it should be you choose a team you want to go bankrupt - you then buy out and with race victories or high positions you get brands wanting to sponsor you.
With this you place them on the car of your choice.
You should design the car- the car? Pre set colour sets - such as Williams and BMW etc - you then choose the white to be red? The blue to be white?
The team - the team should be made up of people you choose such as - Ross Brawn & Nick Fry? That will give your car a quicker car due to the popularity of the people.
The drivers - drivers you choose or want? Such as test drivers who ever? It should be anyone in the F1 world.
There helmet - the helmets should be designed by you, such as sponsors etc. With drivers like Kimi Raikkonen his helmet changes with the team he goes with so you can change the colour of his helm etc. People like Massa? The helmet stays the same, you just place the sponsorships wee you want, now in the beginning you can only choose from certain drivers like Sutil, Piquet, Rosberg etc etc. the more successful you are the better drivers become available.
Uniforms - they should be designed by you - so should the shirts etc - You as the owner should be designed by you and what you will wear etc. Also the type of character you are and how you will be in front of the public. If you win then it should be realistic like it should be made a big thing to add realism

Races - you should be able to be both drivers during the race so you have full control of what they are doing or just stick with one driver - it's up to you.

Normal Championship should be the same but with the seasons if you go to 2nd then the car number should change.

Codemasters reveals F1 game details

By Simon Strang Thursday, April 23rd 2009, 07:28 GMT

Computer games manufacturer Codemasters has revealed details of its officially licensed multi-format Formula 1 game to AUTOSPORT.

F1 2009 will be released in the autumn for the Nintendo Wii and Sony PSP, while a higher-spec F1 2010, with HD graphics and a more sophisticated gaming mode will be launched next year for the Xbox 360, Sony Playstation 3 and Windows.

The new game will be the first to feature world champion Lewis Hamilton, since the Briton had not reached grand prix level when F1's agreement with Sony came to an end in 2006.

F1 2009 will use all of this year's cars, teams and tracks - including the Singapore night race, the Valencia Marina Bay circuit and the new Abu Dhabi season finale. The game will also include KERS, slick tyres and the new aerodynamic regulations.

In-depth race simulators are rare on the Wii and the format does not lend itself easily to the concept, but Codemasters is convinced it can deliver promising 'new standards for immersion and authenticity' including a full season, individual arcade-style challenges and a multi-player format.

The PSP version will allow wireless multiplayer, while F1 2010 is expected to take full advantage of Xbox and PS3's thriving online gaming communities.

"Codemasters has a great heritage when it comes to racing games and their reputation is second to none," said F1 supremo Bernie Ecclestone. "We're working very closely together on the upcoming Formula 1 titles and are very impressed with what we have seen."

Formula 1 world championship leader Jenson Button added: "F1 computer games and circuit simulations can be invaluable for racing drivers so it's great news that our fans will also be able to experience the BGP 001 through this game."

New F1 game details revealed
April 23, 2009 by James Allen

More details have emerged today of the new F1 game, produced by Codemasters, which will replace the long standing Sony product.

According to Autosport, “F1 2009 will come out in the autumn for the Nintendo Wii and Sony PSP, while a higher-spec F1 2010, with HD graphics and a more sophisticated gaming mode will be launched next year for the Xbox 360, Sony Playstation 3 and Windows.”

The game will be fully up to date, with all the latest tracks, latest drivers and the technical features of 2009 cars, like KERS and slick tyres. Presumably it will feature a lot of wet races.

It has not been revealed whether there is a team manager mode, as there is on the FIFA 09 game on Wii, which my son is very keen on. I can just imagine people getting sidetracked and spending more time making virtual protests about diffusers than racing..

Confirmed again: Jenson Button is a video game nerd.

I'll be buying the Wii and PSP versions, still making my mind up on which next gen one to get (Xbox 360 or PS3)
