First Off I think the team using KERS will have a better advantage for this race, due to its layout.
That's not to say they'll be able to catch Brawn though.

I think we'll get a better picture of performance at Malaysia. It also looks like a better track for KERS and hopefully there'll be less temperature issues should the safety car come out. I think they've made the race a little bit later in the day, but not quite as late as Australia.

It could also rain - thunderstorms are predicted in Kuala Lumpur pretty much all week. That would be interesting, also.

I don't think so... Massa spun off here last year when trying to get the lead back from Kimi, then the year before Hamilton - in his second F1 race - made Massa look like a rookie when he kept trying to pass Hamilton. You might be confusing this track with either Bahrain or Turkey.

This track is going to be the first test of how good the FW31's aerodynamics are, last year on the back of Nico's podium the team failed to get past Q2 and then had an even worse race. Prior to that though Williams cars have run well here and the FW31 has shown great pace at the aero-happy Catalunya-wn circuit and the car just looked totally planted to the road at Melbourne. Nico will run well here as he has said in the past that Malaysia is one of his favourite circuits.

Congrats on Williams's return to form, 7up. Pity about Kazuki and Nico's tyre problems, but his fastest lap shows they have pace. And there was something magestic about a Williams passing a Ferrari at the front of a race.

Very little they can do in such a short time.
Maybe in China and Bahrain they'll have time to make good ground.

I don't expect much maybe a modified diffuser and front or rear wing. If they don't have to redesign the gearbox casing like other teams then I would like to see the 2 deck diffuser on the car by China.

Can't wait for this one to come around now, this is the circuit that will test everyone KERS should feature here and well the Weather forecast is looking good in terms of entertaining racing conditions with rain predicted possibly heavy as well. Bring it on

Am I right in thinking that Malaysia has a longer straight from the start line leading up to the first corner than Australia if so I think it could play into the KERS cars because they could do a full 6.6s Boost.
