The greatest Formula 1 team ever is back with a vengence. Williams to win on Sunday. Cometh the moment, cometh the FW31.

Yes I'm also very happy to see Williams back in the hunt. :)

Yeah, yeah, yeah.
It's nice to see the nice guys have their moment in the sun but, on race day, you will be seeing red and maybe some silver too.
Most likely, you see new diffusers on the rest of the cars before the race... LOL
The only threat to the Red currently is Brawn but, they had a whole year to get into it.
Brawn is a great team catalyst and should do fairly well this year but, it's going to be a red year.

I'm a red fan yet I would not be disappointed to see Williams take some glory and a win!!

Sorry, the only bit of the red team I saw was parked by the side of the road. Didn't look to threatening to me. So far 3 from 3 for the Big Blue. Couple more hours till Rosberg wraps up Pole for the race and perhaps with a bit of luck Kazuki Kamakaze Kawasaki joins him there.

Such a shame that Sir Frank couldn't make the trip out to see Williams ascend to their rightful place at the front of the F1 pack. Hopefully with success this weekend he'll be at Sepang and Shanghai.

16 World Champions and 9 Constructors Championships and soon to be 17-10.

I like your optimism, and I really think Nico should be a heavy favourite for the pole and win. Then we can put his contract extension for 2010 on his to-do-list. :)

I'm a Lewis fan but looking at the big picture, Williams does not have a lot of money and a win (or two) will go a long ways towards securing their future. We need more teams in F1 so it wouldn't bother me a bit if more than McLaren and Ferrari win races this season-Go Williams!! Go Force India!! Go Red Bull!! Go Brawn GP!! As long as Lewis wins the WDC, it's all good :)

The practice sessions so far have been a positive surprise. I wouldn't have believed that they could be that fast, a few podiums if top teams fail.

I sure hope Williams and Rosberg would do well, as qualifying just starting, and I'm opening my first ice cold anchor. :drink:

In the end a disappointing qualifying session for Kazuki and I'm inclined to say Nico too. Nevertheless, Nico has parked it on the 3rd row and fairly certain that one if not both the Red Bulls will break down at some stage tomorrow and we can always count on Webber to destroy his car, hopefully. Perhaps a heavier fuel load is the reason but I expect Williams to be faster than the BMW and Red Bulls tomorrow.

A dramatic improvement from last year though and a win certain to be delivered tomorrow by Nico for Williams. Looks like the smug/happy days are over for McLaren, Ferrari and Renault. Expect a few driver changes there next year.

Where did this :bs: come from? It would be a nice little surprise and by no means a certainty
