Mario Theissen said that Kubica will probably not run KERS, and Heidfeld will. I wonder if that will create tension in the team if Heidfeld beats Kubica....

Kubica's too heavy to run it.

Indeed they do, but at the same time i think Kubica has every right to. It should only be introduced in both cars when properly ready.
At the same time, Heidfeld may have reliability problems thanks to the KERS, Kubica won't. I realise KERS won't cause a full car failure, but if it did fail it would just be a bunch of useless weight to carry about for Nick.

God KERS is pissing me off. I know its good for F1, but its giving an unfair advantage.

Everyone remember and join the chat when you're watching the Practice/Quali/Race if you can!

Is KERS going to be mandatory in the cars next season? I think that it should be as it could be an advantage to thos who use it or as Ewan said aa disadvantage if it fails.

There is one disadvantage the KERS teams will have. Because these new devices aren't exactly light as a feather, they will have to deal with lots of balance problems before they can even attempt to dial in the car's setup. Sure they'll have worked on this during testing, but the amount of balance fiddling they'll have to do first willl vary from circuit to circuit.

Another disadvantage is that I cannot see these things being totally reliable from the off, new technology in F1 takes time before it's reliable. Everything from your semi-automatic gearboxes to turbochargers and seamless-shift transmissions.

Aah, Jensonb another change i see in your signature, Jenson and Rubens' numbers are wrong, they are 20 and 21. In fact just take the whole sig down and replace it with a nice Felipe Massa one, who hopefully will be 2009 WDC :hehe:, I'm just very bored and spotted these mistkes in your signature lol
