Looks like the result of the protest will be appealled by the losing side. Which means that it will almost certainly take weeks to find out who actually won the GP.

Question is, how pissed off does that make you?

Very. Another example of F1 shooting itself in the foot again.

These things have to stop if it doesn't want to become a laughing stock.

I don't see why this couldn't have been soreted out weeks ago.

Seems to me that all of a sudden Brawn GP have come along, and a couple of other teams seem a bit closer than what is comfortable and now some of the big boys are getting a bit paranoid.

That said, I'm sure the likes of Ferarri know more about the legitimacy of the cars than what I do so we'll see.

There was so much time for the FIA to make a ruling. If Charlie Whitting can go to a test and tell Williams to remove the paddle-fish style fins from around the cockpit, why could he have said, "dudes, these diffusers look legal to me, take care!" It would have given the other teams ample opportunity to make any necessary changes to conform.

Why did they not do that???

I think this makes for better racing where we don't see the Macca/Ferr 1-2 or 2-1 all the time, but race without a clear cut winner sucks arse!
