I'm sure there are others here who focus quite intensely on a car/driver, when the camera's allow it  , such as I do and I have seen some brilliant car control and feel from Lewis. I honestly do not believe he will have a 'make or break' season anytime soon it's just a matter of if the team gets the car squared away for them to be championship, WDC or WCC, contenders not if Lewis has the talent because we all know he does.

So regarding the main topic of the thread I emphatically say no, it is not a make or break season for Lewis. :)

2007- He lost last race - Weird? Car stopped?
2008- He won last corner - WHAT? :irked: Toyota stops on the last corner?
2009- He loses? proves that last year wasn't 'Talent' proves he cn't drive a car in 2007.

Harsh? Disagree? aww my heart bleeds.

after a breif restbite vanilla bear provies he knows f*** all about F1 yet again and is just here to troll.

Reading your views make me laugh. You are so stuck in your own world that you seem to miss other people own personal opinions. Lewis is an arrogant kid that allot of brits hate? When there country should be supporting him? When really you’re just a kid to tag along for the ride? I think the way you talk about people is like a kid in the play ground whom just bitchs. When really no one takes any notice of you. When at least I have to give it to him that he seems to be able to pull on your strings doesn't he? Then that makes you cry like a little girl. As if you’re ever watched the TV Shows scrubs? I’d like to quote something Dr.Cox says.

Lewis hamilton will rise to the chalenge----that's what the great ones do.

You my friend are what I call an azz sucker. You seem to miss facts of your so-called hero. I have never seen a F1 driver come into this sport and have a website made about him that shows his country hates him. Now that is not something to brag bout? I believe Jenson may have jokes made about his career? He has duck about in his career yes and has made some mistakes? But I guarantee when the sunshines all those button fns will come out of the Shadows and show themselves. Unlike hammy were their fns getting their teeth into each other like it’s a steak?

Hamilton downplays McLaren exit talk

World champion Lewis Hamilton has downplayed suggestions that he is ready to consider driving for a different team in the future.

The McLaren driver made his Formula 1 debut with the British squad in 2007 and admitted after clinching the title last year his intention was to see his career out at the team.

However, the British press reported this week that Hamilton was ready to consider other options for his future as the 2009 season is about to begin.

The Briton looks set for a difficult start to the year, with McLaren having admitted its car is not as fast as they hoped.

But, speaking to reporters in Australia on Thursday, Hamilton said he had no intention to go anywhere.

"I don't have a view on it," said Hamilton of the comments reported by the British media. "You can take it any way you want it, but it doesn't make any difference. I am where I am and I am happy where I am.

"All I said was that for sure if someone did approach me, I wouldn't tell them to f*** off. I would think, 'wow'.

"It is great to see that there is interest in other areas but I am happy where I am right now, so that is all there is."

This is ridiculous. For the media to even be asking such questions! The season hasn't even begun!

The question was very unfair and then they made a too big of a deal out of his answer as well. (That said, I would rather have seen a flat denial from Hamilton.)

I could see Hamilton staying at McLaren for his whole career....

...o/t has any driver actually spent their F1 career at one team exclusively in recent times, obviously spending a fair few years there and having a degree of success?? My mind is drawing a blank. :scratchchin:
