Got the cap for Christmas. Dont now if theres another one since then. The T shirt was last years, got it at Silverstone. how could i not after that stunning win!

What about Mansell-mania? There was even lots of Damon Hill merchandise around when I went back in 1994, my sister bought a Union Jack with "Hill" on it. Even today fans in Williams gear is a very common sight when you're walking around Silverstone.

I don't really think Mansellmania can be compared to the popularity of McLaren, Ferrari, Senna and Schumacher. It was neither over a sustained period nor universal to all Formula One fans. Moreover, Senna was a global icon when Mansell was driving for Williams.

The McLaren merch sales surely can't be helped by the fact that some of their stuff is tacky as hell...!

Yeah, the quality of the gear is not bad, but not brilliant. Certainly not what you would expect when you're paying £30 or so for, say, a a t-shirt. My biggest gripe has always been the styling, though. I think McLaren's gear looks awful.

Oh I was in at kilda today what a shifty excuse for a beach! Haha but I bumped into a promo event by force India sutil was roller blading n afterwards ended up sitting across from fisi during lunch! He had pizza but ate it with a knife m fork I thought Italians ate with their hands? Hehe

Obcourse i do 'Hey' Longbow them T's are very nice i'll let u know mine is too big? but goes well with my Tracky bottoms but i will say that it will go great with a beer.

Plus Ferrari has the mystique of their road cars as well. In the US, the only name people know of F1 is Ferrari (but only because they know the brand from their road cars) - a good way to pique their interest in F1: Oh, Ferrari races in F1? Ah!
