Yeah that's very true, but if as u say? look at stats who would u say was the more superior driver?
i can see were VB is coming from in that sense

Not saying it wasn't shui but f1 is about Driver + CAR + Team

if one of them mess up you aint going to win the championship or it at least will make it harder

Just because shui was better overall than JV don't mean JV don't deserve his title.

I don't get why schui was so dirty i mean he was the best for the decade or so he was driving but he didn't need to cheat to win.

Not regularly, no, but Damon Hill might have a thing or two to say about Schumacher cheating to win...

I love how Kimi had one bad year and people are already saying Massa is better than him

Yeh it's a bit much really. Having said that, last year was a really strange thing to have happened to someone of Kimi's ability. Massa has a long way to go before he convinces me that he is on the same level as Kimi, Alonso and Hamilton.

People seem to have incredibly short memories in F1

No kidding man. Just because Massa could've won the title last year doesnt make him better than Kimi. Kimi could've won the title in 03 and 05, and he won the title in 07.

I'll take Massa as a serious threat, but I dont think he is on the level of Kimi, Alonso, and Hamilton... yet.

I´m not sure who will be the better Ferrari driver next season.
Slicks are probably a better basic for Kimi.
But before last year´s season begun, everyone said that Felipe would be beaten by his teammate.
We´ll see who will be the better driver this season.

Thing is Massa hasn't had the easiest run? Barichello is underrated and was always the 2nd one to Schumi?
But he's one the best Formula 1 Drivers still. Mssa did what Rubbens wish he could? Kimi hs talent i can't steal that away, But Massa has kept up the wins podiums nd so forth? Kimi wins one then shoots to 6th? I think F1 is glory suppotors sports. We forget the greats and jump on the new talent? This season will be mixed and varied for the whole season? Kimi & Massa will be at the throats? But when it comes to intellegence and a guy they can count on Massa is a sure win? a show you want? Kimi is the man. I think we count the chickens before we even have them all in the pen. Massa Is car Numero 3 this year. I just hope the boy bring back both golds and gives himself a well deserved numero 1! i love Ferari and both drivers. I have supported them both all the way through with the great personalitties, Just have to wait nd see how they both deliver. But it will be a game on Ping Pong of different times on Saturday. ust will it read FM or RK? or will JB split them both up?

Well...since Kimi is runnig for Ferrari, he hasn't done half of the work he did for Mclaren..(despite 2007's WDC)

He's been at Ferrari for 2 seasons, and he was at McLaren for 5 seasons. You cant really compare what he's done for Ferrari with McLaren, since he was at McLaren much longer.

What exactly do you mean by, people have short memories.

Massa has proven himself to be on the same level as Kimi. You can't just keep saying that Kimi's having a bad year. Actually, people forget that Massa was ahead of Kimi in 2007, until he ran into a few reliability probelms forcing him into a support role. During 2008, there was no probelm with Kimi up until Germany where after he started to preform badly on his account. Massa has simply been improving and is preforming on an equal level with Kimi.

In my opinion there's nothing wrong with Kimi. People just don't think Massa is that good.

He's also hasn't raced half as much for Ferrari as he did for Mclaren :)

Kimi is to me F1's fastest driver. However, he is not the best driver, that's Alonso.
But Massa is very determined and hard working. This could work in his favour with all the 'unknowns' of the coming season... unless everything goes silky smooth with Kimi and Ferrari, in that case Kimi could well obliterate everyone.

I agree with this statement in it's entirety.

This comment refers to issues other than the one under discussion here. People often criticise Ferrari for using team orders when they are traditionally a team that does not. They came under intense criticism during the 50s, 60s and 70s for running equal status drivers. People were also very quick to put the knife in over Mosley's privacy invasion last year while forgetting how much of an improvement he was over Ballestre and how much he has worked to improve the safety of F1 during his presidency.

Räikkönen. He will dominate this season. His focus is absolute, just look at him in testing, racing rally cars, snowmobiles, preparing physically(dropped 5-6kg of weight, not drinking). He's been completely focused on the task at hand and with this mind set he will be unstoppable.

Out of the two, i would want Massa to win. After Brazil last year i have a huge amount of respect for the guy. I think he deserves it more than Kimi does, and frankly i think Massa has much more passion for the sport in general.

Is Kimi is quicker than Massa? I really don't know. And i wouldn't like to say. But like everyone else has said, if Kimi performs anything like he did last year, then Massa will drive him into the ground.

On his day Kimi is Untouchable but the guy smokes and drinks and barely trains so he never really preforms to the best of his ability .
