He was moaning about sharing his telemetry and how Hamilton probably benefits from it - but surely Alonso also has access to telemetry from Hamilton too? If Hamilton is quicker, surely Alonso can gain more from Hamilton's telemetry than the other way around?

setting up a car is an art just like driving one.

It's one thing being upset by your faster team mate, but it's another showing it.

By showing it, he is playing into Lewis' hands, and opening himself to even more stick from the press.

Let's face it, half of this is the work of the press. There is no doubt that Nando would love to beat Lewis, after all there is no better yardstick to measure a driver with than his own team mate. Having said that, sulking and mouthing is not going to make things any better. It's simply going to give the press the opportunity to fill more sensational pages.

Yes and if there is any takeaway from Michael's dominance its that immersion into vehicle dynamics is critical to understanding car setup. But LH is also benefiting from Maca's intuitive understanding of what the driver needs. Remmember Kimi has'nt a clue but they managed to get the car to his liking. This has helped them with LH's limited experience. Ferrari who depended on Rubens and Michael telling them what they wanted are suffering as they have not cracked the Kimi code and Massa adapted to Michael's setups. I also think LH, unlike say JPM, is willing to do what is required to be at the top and is benefiting accordingly. Juan could not learn and depended solely on his talent. When that failed him he was lost. Ron tried to help him learn but JPM was convinced he got there on talent and it would get him through. Talent ain't enough! Even Tiger got better by changing his swing.

MS is helping Massa win the title, and doing nothing for Kimi, as I understand it.

LH has the advantage of having nothing to lose and nothing to prove. That could change in the future, but for now, I bet that's how he can keep his cool and stay focused.

Well, I think KR doesn't WANT MS's help. I'm sure if he asked him, MS would be happy to help him.

^^ yes that's the impression I get too. He just didn't want to appear too impressed about MS's appearance so he planned a bowel movement, which is a reasonable tactic for someone who wants to be champion or seen as champion material, and after that he has to keep up that act. So he cannot be nice to MS even if he wants to.

And told Martin Brundle all about it.

...which is a shame because he could really use some pointers in that department (the technical side of F1). By his acting like this, he might well compromise his chances to win the title - the season so far has (or should have) sent a loud and clear message to him.

I think in terms of raw speed, KR could still outpace FM. So, just imagine if he had the savvy and the support of MS, what he could achieve: he'd be right up there with the McLaren boys.

Well maybe wants to compete using his own methods(wild and uncalculating) rather than change his core. If he won after converting to a professor, he might feel the wins are not his, that he was merely a pawn. Of course I'm just speculating, but if that's the case he deserves a lot of respect for that. Stll, one should always accept help. I mean if he can't give input toward developing the car, he will get nowhere.

Maybe he thinks they'll use his input to make Massa faster.

What occurs to me is We aren't yet used to seeing Kimi as a Ferrari driver. The Tifosi were in love with Berger and Alesi, and weren't too warm toward MS at first. The best thing for Kimi would be to establish himself at Ferrari, stick around and keep things steady, ride out the bumps and eventually come out on top. And Ferrari needs continuity too. They seem to do poorly in a revolving door setup.
