It will be a hard one this season for them.....Seening as Massa has proven himself last season as possibly one of the best drivers on the track?
Kimi has not only sorted himself out? he looks ready for a double title :)
Brawn GP? Barichello an X great ferrari man who helped and aided Schumi to the titles?
Or JB? One of the most smoothest and talented drivers that has Not be harnessed yet?
Macca Are out of this one guys.

I don't think they'll be able to win the title without something spectacular, however I do think they'll be on terms with the leading pack by the European races. Just looking at how competitive Brawn GP could be, and how tight Ferrari, Toyota and BMW Sauber are, it would take some doing for McLaren to mount a serious title challenge if they start the season on the back foot. With there being more people in the title race than in previous years, the defecit could easily prove too hard to make up.

We've entered a new world of no inseason testing, everything is up in the air and its fantastic! Brawn appear to have a very quick car, but forgetting them for one second let's look at the top 3 manufacturers.
Toyota, Ferrari and BMW. At the moment you have to say that these 3 are the title contenders - but which is faster? In your opinion. It looks like Ferrari, but BMW may be conservative.

Yeah the rest can hold each other up, but COME ON ITS MCLAREN

If the other teams split the points, rather than there being one frontrunner from the start, then that could keep slow starting teams in the game longer.

Very very true.

Can anyone offer a good explaination as to how McLaren managed to make such a huge mistake, despite having the best facilities of any team? Was their simulator incorrectly configured or something?

The hangover from partying in Brazil lasted until mid December.

McLaren don't strike me as a team that know how to party to be honest with you... :hehe:
you obviously haven't been to a GP where they won ;)

British GP 2001 :clap::thumbup:

Fridays at race weekends will become the place to test out new parts etc for future races.

Indeed but even then that is one day every couple of weeks. Compared to how it used to be.

To be honest I dislike the rule changes alot.

These testing restrictions will benefit those teams which can develop sophisticated simulation technologies. Not that such technologies will be as good as real testing, but they will probably be better than nothing at all.

Yeah......i believe 2004...Kimi Raikkonen was racing for them that season....He did terrible....Engine went all the time?
That was McLaren then? whats the difference now? It could be wishful thinking, but i have realised from last season that anything cn happen :)
I think McLaren won't be as successful as they have been in previous years. Ferrari will still hold the constructors :)
