He doesn't owe anything to Mclaren. He doesn't get paid

:rofl::rofl::rofl: He has so many backhanders lining his pockets you wouldnt believe it!! AND he used FIA (McLaren) money to buy votes in his confidence vote!!That was completely rigged!

I doubt highly he needed to use FIA funds to buy votes. He has plenty of money for that as it is, but most of this votes were not won by buying, just through intimidation and bone-idleness on the part of the members.

He bought African votes.

Right, but I doubt he needed to dip into FIA funds for that. He (nfortunately) didn't have to buy most of the Yes votes, so it won't have cost enough for him to resort to such easily discoverable misappropriation.

He's not stupid. A hypocritcal amoral vindictive Barstard but not stupid. he covers his tracks. The money would not directly be handed over, thats not how it works, but helping fund a country to prepare to host a GP? Putting money into said country's race training programmes? etc etc. And where does the FIA get money from to fund such programmes? from huge fines inflicted on McLaren, and anyone else who breaks the rules........Oh no, just McLaren

Let it freaking go. McLaren owned up to it, and it's not like they're the only team fined and penalised over fringe issues (Honda got chucked out of 3 races, received a fine and received a 1-Year Suspended Ban for a minor technical disagreement which it turns out was not unique).

The sooner you stop making everything the FIA does wrong about McLaren, the sooner we have a hope in hell of winning the fight with Mosley. When you get obsessive over Macca, you weaken everyone in opposition to him's position.

Yes lets all shut up and pretend mosly plays fair. Its ok he's just having his bit of fun. Head in the sand everyone.

We have no hope in hell of winning anything against mosley and you're in cloud cuckoo land if you think we can.

Whether or not McLaren were guilty is not the issue, surely you relise that?

Wow, what an amazing ability you have to mis-represent things, you should be a lawyer.

I never said anything about McLaren's guilt being the issue. It's not about McLaren. That's the freaking issue. McLaren's guilt or lack thereof is neither here nor there, it's irrelevant. The more you bring it up the more worthless it becomes Let it go. It's been a year. Get over it.

The latter days of Mosley's reign as President is littered with actual problems, corruption and stupidity which affects everyone. When we start making it all about the poor little privatee...Massive corporate team that you feel gets picked on, we trivialise the issue - because that argument is preposterous. The issue is Mosley's continued and incessant incompetence and rampant corruption pervading all that he does.

Surely you realise that is the issue?

Yes I do realise that is the issue, of course i do. But McLaren do get picked on its not just how i feel and $1000000 is not trivial. And as long as Mosley remains every other team is just a likely to get that treatment if they do something he dislikes.Just shutting up about it does nothing to help the situation. Its just another one he smirks at as he gets away with it.

You did say something about Mclaren's guilt, you said they owned up to it. That is what I was refering to as not being the point. The point is that Mosley decides who he wants to be guilty, how guilty they will be and how much they will be punished and ok, it was McLaren he had it in for, but it could be Wiliams next year, braun F1 the year after. THAT is rthe point.
