My question is for those who live in England.
It was announced that BBC made a documentary about Jim Clark.
Has it already passed on air ?
Did somebody watched it ?

I think it probably is one of those documentaries that racing lovers must watch.

Pretty sure I saw something like this on BBC 4 last year maybe. I might be getting confused between the Graham Hill documentary they did and a Jim Clark DVD feature I saw...

This is a brand new documentary, it has been made by Mark Stewart Productions (Sir Jackie's son).
There is no confirmed time of broadcast yet, but he latest vibes are that it will be shown on BBC4 at 8.00pm on Easter Monday 13th of April. (time and date subject to change)

So for you in the UK, be sure to tune in.
I am really looking forward to it, Clark is arguably our greatest British Champion.

This was screened last week in London. It is the final one in a trilogy , the other two being about Graham Hill and Jackie Stewart. This third one is interesting because less is known about Jim, he missed the commercial age of F1 and was shy so avoided the public glare. In this film there are action shotsround Oulton Park in the Lotus25 with trees "terrifyingly close2. There is footage of him speaking. There is also an interview with Sally Stoks, his former girlfriend who struggles to maintain. Jackie spoke after the showing and though he'd planned what to say he broke down.
Excellent films all three so I gather and I believe the BBC is going to show all three over Easter. SO SET THE RECORDER!!.
More about this is in this weeks autosport in the MPH article by Mark Hughes

This will be worth watching. But I really am surprised there was next to no media coverage last year when it was the 40th anniversary of Jim Clark's fatal crash at Hockenheim. And I fear people will forget about this as it is airing around the same time of the 20th anniversary of the Hillsborough disaster.

Such the dominance Football has over Formula One in the British News and Media. Unless it is comtemporary F1.
