If Brawn GP have an excellent season this year, I bet Honda will regret pulling out of F1.

I was thinking the same thing.. I bet they are looking at team like a girlfriend they broke up with, that just got a boob job..

Yeah but what if it's Merc that've given them the boob job while Honda could've only come up with a padded bra?

Maybe that could be giving them the extra boost, but Honda were the slowest last year in straight line speed. I dont know if it was a lack of horsepower, or if it was all that downforce on their car.

i was just thinking you remeber when button 1st started driving in F1 and you had those stupid BBC red button adverts with him in?

Because of all the hype about him being the new British F1 driver.

Well all the hype is on lh now and i wonder if that would change much if Jenson became 2009 WDC would the hype start around him again?

Its with all these little F1 adds on the BBC making me remeber i guess.

That wasn't when he first started, that was like 2005ish

But those were definitely insufferable, I don't know what muppet came up with them.

I can't wait to see what the british media start saying now. They totally shunned Button the last 2 years, and buttons knows it. Personally I hope Button shuns the british media and has go at the media, asking where they've been the last 2 years.

I'm also interested to see what happens the Hamiliton hype after Hamiliton finds himself fighting for 8th posistion with his old mate Alonso. Will they start to shun Lewis in favour of Button now.

But I know at least one country that will be happy enough. Brazil's now got 2 drivers with a chance at the WDC. Interlagos should be fun :D §

Jenson's not the type to shun people out of spite, but I doubt he'd take any "always knew you could do it" crap lying down. He'll still talk to them plenty though, he cares a lot about trying to do stuff for the fans and one way to do that is to pop into the TV coverage.

Your totally right, he does britain good. I hope he shows Lewis what a true British driver is all about.
He will take us all the way :)
Just lewis has annoyed me for the past few years.
A Ferrari fan yes?
but Britiain hasn't done Button any justice?
When Lewis won his first race there was no hype?
nothing.
When Jenson won his first race the croud was going crazy
James was going nuts!!!!
Thats the kind of Man we need :)

Could this be the next man to join Brawn F1

http://www.autosport.com/news/report.php/id/73753

How much of a coup would it be

oh god no

I think it would be better for everyone if he was at Brawn than the alternative. Not that I'd have him in either.

I think it is interest reading the new rules that the FIA have made drivers sign autographs on Fridays, that may be a good thing for paddock holders etc, the regular fans will still be left out unfortunately.
