Brawns Diffuser may be illigal
http://en.f1-live.com/f1/en/headlines/n ... 2908.shtml

Typical Ferrari, cant beat it ban it

It would be a shame to toss Brawn GP because of their diffuser, now.. If Charlie flew in for a quick inspection of the Williams side pod fins and Williams removed them, then he should have been looking at the diffusers also (not that they weren't plastered in the medial enough). Dom is right about one thing. FIA should say if it legal or not so Macca can copy Brawn if it is :hehe:

Glad to see that McLaren are sorting things out (or so it seems).

At least they are mixing it with the Renaults. Still a mammoth second off of the BRAWN though!

EDIT : Barrichello is so close to beating Aytron's time ahhh!

I read on F1today.nl that Rubens set that 18 on a short stint, on long stints was in the 19's Lewis and Fernando set their 19's on long stints also.

Does anyone know how quickly the rear diffuser can be changed out. As it has to go through crash testing, I was wondering if it was an item relatively easy to replace or a subset of the actual frame? My thought is why doesn't McLaren fashion something different than what they have and give it a try. Doesn't look like they changed anything at all... a millemeter here or there?? They tweaked it all last week. They need to go in the direction of Brawn and Williams.

Would you let pride get in the way of your decision that was bad. Or would you copy to be competative?

You on about the Macca livery?

I never much cared for the chrome thing, but they seem to like shiny things so I just left them to it.
