I will always love this aircraft - a Cessna 172SP - as it was the first plane I ever flew. :cloud9:

wow i never knew you were an aviator :yikes:

I was, and still am kind of, but I had to give up ambitions of being a professional pilot, for I developed a couple of chest complaints, which would make passing an airline medical a little tricky. Moreover, it was cripplingly expensive, particularly in my situation. So, for those reasons, I decided to focus on my university work, aim to be an academic, and keep flying as a hobby.

I can think of a few that would beat it, however it depends on what role you are on about. I think the Tonka is a good all round aircraft, but a bit of a jack of all trades.

Perhaps the new Renault, was designed by the person who made the Guppy?

Sometimes I wonder how that can even get off the ground to start with.....

no its not, its a joint effort by the UK, Germany and Italy.

Yup, various parts are built in different countries like the Airbuses. The front fuselage and tail assembly in the United Kingdom, the centre fuselage in West Germany, and the wings in Italy.
The United Kingdom and West Germany each had a 42.5% stake in Panavia Aircraft GmbH (the principal contractor), with the remaining 15% going to Italy.

And the RAF i belive has the most, i think the Italians only got it as a stop gap between there old Phantoms and the Eurofighter.
