McLaren have confirmed that they are well off the pace...But can they make all the necessary adjustments before Albert Park? Or even receive a reasonable standing this seasonin the world championship?

I bloody well hope so. Thoughts? Reassurances? I'm begging! :)

sorry but, no.
Watch the time sheets next week in Jerez. Williams McLaren and Brawn are all testing for a few days. *why are williams and mclaren getting more mileage  *

Anyway, you don't just solve these probelms overnight. Look at Renault, from championship winning team in 2005 and 2006 to 4th in 2007. The same thing could easily happen to McLaren. Again looking at Renault, they started badly in 2008 and built their way throughout the season. Again, McLaren could take a few races to get on the pace, or they could take till next year. We just don't know these things.

I don't know, it could take some time to sort their problems out (or not) but maybe with everything being so mixed up at the start of this season a bad start may not be quite as disasterous as it would normally.

Who knows? Can't wait to find out anyway.

Like i've said if there's one team you CAN NOT write off until the 1st corner of the 1st Qualifying lap.

Its Mclaren.

Got a another week of testing yet, plus a week of wind tunnel work and Friday practice.

Will admit its not looking good though i'd rather see them doing what brawn gp is doing.

yes

Yes?

yes they will pull through in 09 :D

Almost certainly, but when in '09?

Soon enough to challenge for the WCC? Soon enough to challenge for wins in the flyaways?

I suspect they might have the car quick enough by Aus that Lewis can drive around it to get it there abouts (We're talking P3 here as a top goal, barring the top teams stuffing up Ferrari '08 at Aus style). Getting it into a position to win might take a little longer.

Yeh but Ferrrai are bricking it about Mechanical Failures i'm thinking less cooling hot races?

See what happens next week but i hope to see them setting faster times.

also its worth noting Ron said - everythings ok then Martin Said - Were off the pace.

could they be just confusing people and calling a double bluff

It might take some time because of the testing ban. Having had those problems and having had to address them during pre-season testing, they might have ended up with a testing deficit in other areas, which only aggravates their situation.
