Sometimes Hamilton drives like playing video game on "No Car Damage" mode.

How many DNFs in his first 2 seasons? And out of those how many could probably be attributed to lack of experience rather than aggressiveness? Not exactly what I would call 'like playing video game on "No Car Damage" mode'

Just a few because he was a bit luck with Mclaren resisting some bumps.
And other drivers, knowing that he(hamilton) could be a threat to the rest of their races...

Well...it's just my point of view...I know that 99% of the crew here will disagree with me...

I'm not saying he's not an aggressive driver, take how he drives round Monaco, he is still very much in control. Still, one bump with the barrier there is one too many and he was lucky to get away with that.

Oh how boring F1 could really be.

Yeh but alot of people forget it was only LH 2nd year in top level motorsport.

The FIA was against him, The Ferrari was better the whole of the field wanted Massa to win after Kimi dropped too far back.

Yet he still won it, it was Messy but for only his 2nd year and him being so young its pretty remarkable.

Of course he is good !!
I'm not crazy!

he's a PRETTY good driver, for sure !!!

I just think Alonso is much better!
Mainly because he gets the maximum of the car being quite safe.

As you said, it's only the second year of Hamilton in a F1 (both years driving the fastest car) and he will grow a lot...
I juts think that if he gets a bit safer, he could be the best driver...you'll understand me when he gets a not that fast car...

I think alot of the thing with alonso is that he beat Schui twice but that was at the end of Shui's career in a better car.

Alonso had the same car as hamilton in 2007 and Lewis beat him you can't get a better comparison than that for drivers.

Lewis didn't take the piss out of him but that was really only because of his rookie slip up in China if he won that race i don't think there would be any question.

And what if I said that I think Button is better than Hamilton ?
would she hire a professional killer to kill me ? =p

What makes you think she wouldn't do it herself?

She tried to snap me in twain when I said it :(

I thought Hamiliton was great in 2007. I was there supporting him to win that year. But 2008 too many things changed. He became more cocky and less considerate of other drivers posistion. Monza is a key example, where Lewis seemed to think that other cars didn't have the right to re-challenge for their posistion. The main incident being shoving Glock completely of track. Also, what on earth was he doing in Bahrain of the starting grid.

I relize that it's only his second season, but his first season was smooth and almost flawless. He only really lost it during the last 2 races after being too aggresive when he didn't need to be. But in 2008, he just seemed all over the place. At times he was dominant and others he made mistakes you'd expect from Piquet. It was that up and down form that makes me think he did a better job in 2007.

But with McLaren looking like they'll be fighting the mid-feild. I think it'll be interesting to see Hamiliton deal with different situations. Nearly every F1 driver has started in a slower car, something Hamiliton hasn't. So it'll be interesting to see how he deals with that, and how he makes oppurtunities.

Don't you think that it's enough ? even with a better car (not that better, like Hakkinnen's Mclaren)

Same team, yes, but the driver's treatments were very different !!
Even though I don't really analyze the numbers...I look at each one's driving style.
If it were like that, Prost (who was an excelent driver) beat Senna in the same team...does it make him better than Senna?
some could say yes,but I wouldn't.
