Don't they just look like a happy family. :D

I think Brawn GP has really become the new underdog team. So just like Super Aguri or Jordan, we'll soon see BrawnGP gather a mass of loyal supporters. But unlike before, there's real hope that one day BGP will be a front running team, especially with Ross at the helm. With Honda you seen a corporate team, with millions invested and nothing coming out. But with the new team, it already feels like a modest little team.

I love that picture, Rubens looks like he's looking at his favourite little brother :D

Lots of rumours flying about that the silly sods who didn't take the redundancy packages Honda were offering before X-Mas now face being obliged to take much smaller offers. That's not nice.

Numbers affected? About 300 people.

Well, that's 1 way of making a large manufacturer tema into a little independent I suppose.

From the BBC:-

"Honda are believed to be bankrolling the outfit for the first year of their existence to the tune of more than £70 million, roughly the amount it would have cost the Japanese manufacturer to wind the company up."

That's all good for this season but what happens next season?

Do what Williams do, and worry about that next season!

They're gonna have to get some serious sponsor money very soon. Unless Brawn starts talking to some sugar daddies with lots of dough like Branson to buy into the team.

I hope for the teams sake that this is a better car than what they have managed to produce in the last few years. Then again would Ross the Boss put his name to something that was a dog?

Well he had no problems associating with Michael Schumacher :D

Even if the car isn't that competitive I am just glad to see an F1 team saved. Any less cars on the track and the whole thing would have started to look a little farcical. I read Nigel Mansell saying his world title is worth 20% more than Lewis's because he had to fight off more teams on the track! So the more teams the better IMO

Word on the street is they already have sponsors, including a big title sponsor.

Pepsi would be cool, i dont think the current financial climate will affect consumable companies like Pepsi, Coke and Redbull etc. as Redbull has said people still buy Redbull drinks compared to not buying cars so they are in good shape financially.

though Brawn GP's logo isnt that spesh it looks like BR-AWN GP
