Is their budget so stretched that they can't afford slicks for testing?

I was also wondering why the car has the old tires on it but it could be just a case of using up the old stock?

They would definitely not be using old tyres for testing, I get the feeling there's something fishy about that site.

Now dont go making a mountain out of a mole hill as it could just aswell be a ploy by Ross !

This is great news. 20 cars on the grid: the more the merry!

What is great about this team is that they haven't had a development stop all the way. They kept working on the new car even without having a power plant ready. So now hopefully they can battle for some 'best of the rest' places this year. If they are competitive with the rest of the middle pack then Brawn could pull one or two surprises out of the hat the coming season. After all, he is known for his cunning strategies! Also, the Mercedes / Brawn combination might be a good one...we will have to wait and see.

I still am a little disappointed Michael Schumacher didn't get in on this deal. I would love to see him reunited with Brawn to craft a team together!

Are Honda going to use McLarens running gear? anyone heard?

as for MS i believe there are still Sponsors at Ferrari that are there specifically because Schumi is still linked to them. If he were to go to another team that would break these sponsorship terms of contract.

Mercedes Engine, Brawn GP (Honda Racing F1) Gearbox - and this is a team which makes a damned fine gearbox.

To explain how I know this, Ross said they had spent time adapting the Chassis and Box to the Mercedes engine.

Any money is good money when it comes to keeping your team afloat.

I don't think they have any sponsors yet just £45 million from TV and £40 Million from honda i think!

Apparently the colours the team is using ATM do not reflect the sponsors. My money's still on Pepsi base on what I've heard. Could be anyone though - I hope RayBan are back.

It looks very similar to the camera mount colour in the picture posted on the last page.

I hope for the teams sake that this is a better car than what they have managed to produce in the last few years. Then again would Ross the Boss put his name to something that was a dog?
